A Câmara Municipal de Mafra instituiu bienalmente o Prémio Literário do Município de Mafra, visando incentivar, promover e divulgar a criação literária. O prémio será atribuído, alternadamente a obras inéditas de poesia e de ficção em prosa. A terceira edição decorre no biénio de 2025/2026, destinando-se a premiar o melhor trabalho inédito na modalidade de poesia.

Serão admitidos a concurso exclusivamente textos inéditos, escritos em língua portuguesa, da autoria de nacionalidade portuguesa ou estrangeira e de autoria única, atribuindo-se ao vencedor uma retribuição pecuniária e a publicação da obra premiada.
